Privacy Policy
What personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Pending UCR is a filing-assistance service run by AGI Technologies LLC. Getting your UCR or related compliance filing done means you hand us real details about your business, so this page lays out, plainly, what we collect, what it's for, and what say you have over it.
We collect what a filing and a payment actually require — nothing more. We don't sell personal information, and we don't hand it to advertisers, marketing networks or data brokers.
Information we gather
Most of it comes from you directly, across five groups:
- Filing details — company name, USDOT number, fleet size, business address and whatever else your UCR or related compliance filing calls for.
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number.
- Payment details — handled by our payment processor, not by us. What reaches our side is confirmation the payment went through, a transaction reference, the amount, the card brand and its last four digits. Full card numbers, expiry dates and security codes never touch our systems.
- Acceptance record — a timestamp and the IP address the request came from, logged automatically the instant you check the box accepting our Terms at checkout.
- Site activity — IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed and how you move through them. Covered further under "Site analytics" below.
What it's used for
- preparing, processing and submitting your UCR or related compliance filing;
- taking payment and issuing receipts or refunds;
- sending confirmations, filing paperwork and other service messages;
- answering you when you reach out;
- keeping the records our accounting, tax and dispute-handling obligations require;
- catching fraud and keeping our systems secure; and
- understanding site usage well enough to improve it.
Where it goes
Getting your filing done and your payment processed involves a couple of outside parties:
- Our payment processor, who takes your payment. Card details travel straight to them and fall under their own privacy policy and security standards, separate from ours.
- Government registration systems — the Unified Carrier Registration Plan, relevant state agencies, and the portals that sit behind them. Handing your filing to them is the service you bought, so this step is unavoidable.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it — a valid legal request, a court order, a regulatory demand — or to bring or defend a legal claim of our own.
We do not sell personal information. We do not hand it to advertisers, marketing networks or data brokers.
Site analytics
We run Microsoft Clarity to understand how people actually use this site — clicks, scroll depth, cursor movement, general device and browser information, and occasionally a session replay so we can see exactly where someone got stuck. It exists to find and fix confusing parts of the site, and for no other purpose.
Microsoft's own terms govern how it handles that data — see privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
Cookies
We set the cookies needed for the site to function — mainly one that keeps your session alive while you're mid-filing and moving toward checkout. Your browser can be set to block or clear cookies, but blocking the essential one will stop checkout from working.
How long we hold records
Filing and transaction records stay on file for as long as we need them to deliver the service and satisfy our legal, accounting, tax and dispute-resolution obligations. Anything tied to a payment is kept at minimum for the stretch during which a dispute or audit could reasonably surface. Once none of those purposes apply anymore, we delete the record or strip it of anything that could identify you.
Keeping it secure
Traffic to and from this site travels encrypted over HTTPS. Staff access to customer records is limited to people who need it for their job. Card data is handled by a processor that maintains its own PCI DSS compliance — which is exactly why card numbers never reach us in the first place. No system is perfectly secure, and we'd rather say that outright than pretend otherwise.
Requests you can make
Contact us and we can:
- send you a copy of the personal information we hold on you;
- fix anything inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete information, as long as we're not required to retain it for accounting or filing-record reasons; or
- stop sending you anything beyond what your order requires.
Email support@pendingucr.com with your name, USDOT number and what you'd like done. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Extra rights depending on where you live
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Virginia — and a growing list of other states — get additional rights under their own privacy laws: to know what's been collected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of having personal information sold or shared for targeted advertising. We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising purposes, so that particular opt-out has nothing to act on here. Exercising any privacy right won't change the price or service you get from us.
Not for children
This service is built for businesses, not children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Tell us if you believe a child has given us information and we'll remove it.
Other websites we link to
Some links on our site lead elsewhere, including official government portals such as www.ucr.gov. Once you leave our site, their privacy practices apply, not ours, and we'd encourage reading them.
Policy updates
We revise this page when our practices change. The date at the top marks the last change, and anything material appears here before it takes effect, not after.
